This article analyses critically the protection of socio-economic rights in the African regional system focusing mainly on the African Charter 1981 and the jurisprudence of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights.</abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru">Одна из особенностей Африканской хартии прав человека и народов 1981 г. проявляется в признании экономических, социальных и культурных прав человека такими же основными, как и гражданские и политические права человека.
