This article analyses critically the protection of socio-economic rights in the African regional system focusing mainly on the African Charter 1981 and the jurisprudence of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights.Одна из особенностей Африканской хартии прав человека и народов 1981 г. проявляется в признании экономических, социальных и культурных прав человека такими же основными, как и гражданские и политические права человека.
