This type of interpreting is regarded in the aspect of host country’s language policy in social sector and in the field of human rights protection. The article also focuses on macro and optional factors that influence the government’s language policy.</abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru">В статье рассматриваются характерные особенности и специфика перевода в системе государственных служб и учреждений, связанные с социальной ролью данного вида языкового посредничества. Рассматриваемая нами разновидность специального перевода во много обусловлена и отражает языковую политику государства в социальной сфере и в сфере защиты прав человека.
