With a large share of global conflicts, Africa finds itself at the centre of this controversy surrounding the concept of humanitarian intervention. The author tries to present and analyze the reasons behind Africa's tendency to exhibit extreme skepticism to any notion of intervention of external forces in the continent even when beautifully dressed with the word humanitarian.
Автор попытался проанализировать причины проявления чрезвычайного скептицизма со стороны африканских стран к любому вопросу касательно вмешательства внешних сил в дела континента, даже если это вмешательство украшено словом «гуманитарное».</trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Africa</kwd><kwd>peacekeeping</kwd><kwd>humanitarian intervention</kwd><kwd>peace and security</kwd><kwd>West African Region</kwd><kwd>ECOWAS</kwd><kwd>African Union</kwd><kwd>United Nations</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>Африка</kwd><kwd>поддержание мира</kwd><kwd>гуманитарное вмешательство</kwd><kwd>мир и безопасность</kwd><kwd>Западно-Африканский регион</kwd><kwd>ЭКОВАС</kwd><kwd>Африканский Союз</kwd><kwd>Организация Объединенных Наций</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Павловский Г.
