A comparison of this approach with the Russian experience of teaching Informatics at school is applied. Approaches to the application of students’ research activity in the framework of teaching computer science is also discussed in the article.</abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru">В статье описывается опыт обучения информационным технологиям в рамках курсов дизайна в школах системы «Международный бакалавриат». Проводится сравнение данного подхода с российским опытом обучения информатике в школе.
