The article considers the transformation of value chains in the timber industry sector of the Russian economy. The work of two wood processing enterprises in the North-West of Russia was analyzed. The problem of the lack of domestic machines and equipment for harvesting and processing wood, as well as the necessary components for the production of high-quality finished products, such as furniture, wooden Windows, etc. This limits the possibility of full import substitution in the Forest complex. It is concluded that with each economic crisis, the volume of deep woodworking in Russia increases, along with the number of finished products produced on the basis of wood. This is facilitated by cheap labor and the availability of wood raw materials.
В статье рассмотрена трансформация цепочек добавленной стоимости в лесопромышленном секторе экономики России. Выполнен анализ работы двух деревоперерабатывающих предприятий Северо-Запада России. Выявлена проблема отсутствия отечественных машин и оборудования для заготовки и переработки древесины, а также необходимых комплектующих для выпуска качественных готовых изделий, например, мебели, деревянных окон, и т.д. Это лимитирует возможность полного импортозамещения в Лесном комплексе. Сделан вывод о том, что с каждым экономическим кризисом, объем глубокой деревообработки в России увеличивается, вместе с количеством выпускаемой на основе древесины готовой продукции. Этому способствует дешевая рабочая сила, доступность древесного сырья.
