All 10 ASEAN countries — Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam — are examples of fast-growing economies in developing countries. This growth has a serious and negative impact on the environment, which, in turn, requires countries to make concrete and consistent efforts towards a green economy. The "green" economy is not just a "fashion trend", it is one of the most important and extremely responsible long-term tasks, both for this group of countries and for the whole world.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В статье показаны основные направления развития «зеленой» экономики в странах Ассоциации стран Юго-восточной Азии (АСЕАН) в XXI в.
