The article shows modern approaches to risk management in the insurance industry; analyzes the key risks faced by insurers; identifies the most effective methods and tools of risk management of insurance companies. The paper presents a brief review of the literature in the context of risk management, trends and the state of the insurance market in Russia and the world, the actual work of insurers with risks. Whereas the timely identification, analysis and overcoming of possible risks is an integral task in the activities of insurance companies, the real practice of risk management in this segment was studied. Based on the results of the research, the strengths and prospects for the development of risk management in insurance were formulated.
В статье рассмотрены современные подходы к управлению рисками в страховой сфере; проанализированы ключевые риски, с которыми сталкиваются страховщики; выявлены наиболее эффективные методы и инструменты риск-менеджмента страховых компаний. В работе представлен краткий обзор литературы в контексте риск-менеджмента, тенденции и состояние страхового рынка России и мира, актуальная работа страховщиков с рисками. Так как своевременное выявление, анализ и преодоление возможных рисков является неотъемлемой задачей в деятельности страховых компаний, была изучена реальная практика риск-менеджмента в данном сегменте. По результатам исследования были сформулированы сильные стороны и перспективы развития управления рисками в страховании.
