The purpose of the study is to identify strengths and weaknesses, analyze the impact of environmental projects based on the use of blockchain technology on the sustainability of various regions of the world. A comparative analysis of open-source digital platforms that allow the distribution of environmental assets among users and ensure transparency of energy resource consumption is carried out. The conducted research allows us to form an idea about the current possibilities of using information technologies for the transformation of regional business processes.</italic></p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p><italic>В статье рассмотрены практики применения технологии блокчейн в экономике распределенного пользования для повышения экологической устойчивости регионов. Целью исследования является анализ влияния экологических проектов, основанных на применении технологии блокчейн, на устойчивость различных регионов мира. Произведен анализ цифровых платформ с открытым исходным кодом, позволяющих распределять экологические активы между пользователями и обеспечивающих прозрачность потребления энергетических ресурсов.
