The main features of the innovative program «Safety of Hydraulic Structure» is presented aimed for teaching and training of students of Peoples' Friendship of Russia (PFUR) for degree of Master of Science in Hydraulic and Dam Engineering.</abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru">Нынешнее состояние большинства гидросооружений в России и особенно крупных плотин - Саяно-Шушенской и Богучанской ГЭС оценивается как опасное. Кратко рассмотрены основные причины такого положения и пути выхода из него. Одним из срочных необходимых мероприятий является подготовка высококвалифицированных инженеров-исследователей в области оценки безопасности гидросооружений.
