The purpose of the article is to identify the main directions of the Russian market domain development . The article revealed the impact of the common top-level domain name (gTLD) on the distribution of the global domain space, the importance of new top-level domain names (newTLD), factors and trends in the development of country top-level domains (ccTLD) on the example of the Russian zones: .ru, .rf . The positive dynamics of the market RF domain and the main domain registrars in the Russian zone of the network are defined in the article. The article highlights the significant role of the domain names for the country and the importance and need for the development and control of the Russian domain space.В данной статье анализируются изменения мирового рынка доменных имен и рассматриваются перспективы и тенденции развития доменного пространства России. Цель работы состоит в выявлении основных направлений развития доменного рынка России и мира. В статье показано влияние общих доменных имен верхнего уровня (gTLD) на распределение глобального доменного пространства, значимость появления новых доменных имен верхнего уровня (newTLD), факторы и тенденции развития страновых доменов верхнего уровня (ccTLD) на примере российских зон .ru, .рф. Отмечается положительная динамика доменного рынка РФ и определены основные регистраторы доменов в российской зоне сети интернет.
