The aim of the work is to assess the anthropogenic impact on the ecosystem of steppe wetlands located in the center of the developing capital. Sampling was carried out from 8 sites of the lake system in autumn 2020. The results of hydrochemical analysis of water samples made it possible to assess the level of chemical pollution and anthropogenic impact on the ecosystem, which, due to rapid urbanization, the lakes have been exposed to for decades. Now, due to the artificial fragmentation of lakes, the surface communication between the sites is disrupted, as evidenced by the different composition of pollutants in water bodies. Nevertheless, to draw up a complete picture and assess the anthropogenic impact on the Taldykol lake ecosystem, it is necessary to consider the results of a comprehensive study of lakes, which includes a number of additional works.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p style="text-align: justify;">Изучена гидрохимия Талдыкольской системы озер, состоящей из озер Большой и Малый Талдыколь, в городе Нур-Султан. Цель исследования - оценка антропогенного влияния на экосистему степных водно-болотных угодий, расположенных в центре развивающейся столицы. Отбор проб был проведен с 8 участков озерной системы осенью 2020 года. Результаты гидрохимического анализа проб воды позволили оценить уровень химической загрязненности и антропогенное влияние на экосистему, которому, в связи со стремительной урбанизацией, озера подвергаются на протяжении десятков лет. На данный момент вследствие искусственной фрагментации озер нарушено поверхностное сообщение между участками, о чем свидетельствует разный состав поллютантов в водоемах. Тем не менее для составления полной картины и оценки антропогенного влияния на озерную экосистему Талдыколь необходимо рассматривать результаты комплексного исследования озер, включающего ряд дополнительных работ.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>ecosystem</kwd><kwd>wetlands</kwd><kwd>urbanization</kwd><kwd>lake Taldykol</kwd><kwd>hydrochemistry</kwd><kwd>water pollution</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>экосистема</kwd><kwd>водно-болотные угодья</kwd><kwd>урбанизация</kwd><kwd>озеро Талдыколь</kwd><kwd>гидрохимия</kwd><kwd>загрязнение воды</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="en">The study was funded and carried out as part of a public environmental review to assess the state of Taldykol lake system with the assistance of the NGO Ecoservice</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Работа профинансирована и выполнена в рамках общественной экологической экспертизы по оценке состояния Талдыкольской системы озер при содействии учреждения неправительственная организация&#13;
