For residents of the coastal zone of Côte d’Ivoire seafood play very important role in the diet, accounting for more than 65%. In this regard, the use of certain pesticides and production of hydrocarbons near the coast of Côte d’Ivoire cause serious damage to the health of the population of the coastal regions. In this paper, an example of two regions of the country: Zhakvil and dabou examines the causes and factors of the mass death of fish and other categories of seafood contamination.В статье рассматриваются проблемы загрязнения береговой зоны Гвинейского залива, в частности берегов Кот-д’Ивуара. Для жителей прибрежной зоны Кот-д’Ивуара морепродукты играют важную роль в рационе питания, составляя более 65%. В этой связи использование некоторых видов пестицидов и добыча углеводородов вблизи берегов Кот-д’Ивуара наносят серьезный ущерб здоровью населения прибрежных регионов.
