RULED SURFACES ON THE GIVEN SUPPORTING CURVES

IVANOV V.N.

Abstract

Thin spatial structures allow creating modern forms of the pubic, sport and industrial buildings and creations. The shells made on the base of the ruled surfaces may be designed by the simplest way. The ruled surfaces formed on the base of any two supporting curves are re- garded in the paper

ANALYSIS OF THE THIN ELASTIC SHELLS IN THE FORM OF LONG OBLIQUE HELICOID

Tupikova E.M.

Abstract

The paper discusses the problems of the analysis of the stress-strain state of oblique helicoidal shells. Basic geometrical and elastic stress-strain relations, equilibrium equations for the shells of this type are established. The numericalsolutionfor the case of a shallow long helicoid is given and the results are compared with the results obtained by finite-element method.

STRESS AND STRAIN STATE IN THE ELASTIC HALF-SPACE AT A PREDETERMINED ON BORDER FORCES OR DISPLACEMENTS

KUDRYAVTSEV S.G., BULDAKOVA J.M.

Abstract

The method of determination of the stress and strain state in the isotropic elastic half-space under given forces or displacements at the border based on the integration of differential equations by the operator method in combination with the Fourier integral transformation is presented. Its application for load case of rectangu- lar area located on the limiting half-plane by uniformly distributed normal and tangential forces is shown. The results of calculations in the form of graphs are given.

DETERMINATION OF ALLOWABLE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE VERY HEAVY TRUCKS PASSED THROUGH THE RUSSIAN PMP FLOATING BRIDGE

SALAMAKHIN P.M., NGUEN M.T.

Abstract

The paper based on the known theory of beams on elastic foundation develops a methodology determining the permissible distance between very heavy trucks passing through the Russian PMP floating bridge and gives an example of its using in solving practical problems for the conditions of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

PNEUMATIC STRUCTURES AND BUILDINGS

KRIVOSHAPKO S.N.

Abstract

Brief information on the state of affairs in the area of design, application, and classifica- tion of pneumatic buildings with maximum attraction of illustrative materials is the aim of the paper. Examples of air-supported and air-bearing coverings are presented. Both the first pneumatic structures of the 40th years of the XX century and the structures of different modifi- cations, forms, and diverse purposes presented in the XXI century are given

MATHEMATICAL MODELS OF THE IMPROVEMENTED CALCULATION ON DURABILITY OF CONTINUOUS AVIATION CONNECTIONS WITH ACCOUNT OF THEIR COMPLIANCE

Firsanov V.V.

Abstract

Mathematical models and algorithms for the calculation, which allows to improvethe strain-stress state of continuous aviation connections and joints with variation in wall thick- ness are constructed. The boundary-value problem by definition of a stress state of a bound- aryplane strain ("boundary layer" type) for rigid fixed edges of a cylindrical shell and an annu- lar plate at axisymmetric loading is formulated and solved. Calculations of stresses in flange connection are carried out. Graphs of these stresses on a thickness of a plate and a shell are constructed. The boundary-value problem by "boundary layer" definition is modified for the account of connected elements of structures compliance is modified and the estimation of its influence is given

FREE VIBRATIONS OF THE SPHERICAL SHELL CONTAINING AN ELASTIC FILLER

SEYFULLAYEV A.I., AQALAROV H.C.

Abstract

We study the free vibrations of a spherical shell filled with an elastic medium. The equa- tions of motion of a thin elastic spherical shell of exposure to internal pressure are given. Me- dium, filling the shell with a significantly has the lower modulus of elasticity. Solution for the free vibration of the system shell filler is presented. We construct an ana- lytical solution of the problem, dependence of the oscillation frequency of the shell without the filler as a function of the frequency of the shell - filler. A plot of the frequency spectra for the two branches is given
