Abstract

The article discusses the semiotics of a characterological conflict. The system of alter-idem is shown at several novelistic levels. Firstly, the semiotic reflection of the text of F. Sologub is directed on a reproduction of a cultural code. Secondly, between characters of the novel difficult connection of an attraction of pushing away and pair interaction are established that all-in-all supports the difficult ideological concept of the novel. On the whole, the structure of the system of images realizes the mythological principle of a syncretism which is cornerstone of poetics of the novel.
