Frame as a Proposition and Translation Unit

Abstract

In the practice of translation the unit of a proposition frequently coincides with the necessary and minimum volume to form the unit of translation. The logic of thought-to-speech process, which figurativeness may be interpreted by using frame structures, underlies the division of the full text into segments-units.
