The Perception of Complex Sentences in French and Japanese

Abstract

The article describes a few notions of cognitive linguistics, adequate and important for syntax; it treats differences in perception of propositions of complex sentences in languages belonging to different families proceeding from their syntactic structure and connections between syntax and semantics.
