Abstract

A new cognitive science paradigm helps to illustrate the structure of a “live” word in the mental lexicon. This paradigm describes human mental space as a cognitome that is based upon a specific connectome organization. It is thus concluded that a “live” word is of a multimodal (in its neurophysiologic sense) hypernetwork nature.
