Abstract

The article examines problems associated with a specific perception of Russian phrases and sentences by foreigners and provides a set of principles for teaching Russian syntactic standards to foreign students. The teaching aims at developing students’ communicative competence and skills of adequate verbal behavior in sociocultural, professional and business areas.
