Abstract

The article analizes contemporary research in linguistics, methodology and application of its results in teaching Russian pronunciation to foreigners. It deals with the most important step of introduction to the Russian language learning, i. e. forming hearing and speaking skills and creating a perceptual framework on a limited lexical and grammatical material used in Introductory Phonetic-Grammar course.
