The authors are invited to discussthe problem of the project development, the real experience of implementing the idea of a secure world order within the framework of the Versailles system, the place and role of Russia in it; the socio-political practices in the inter-war period,the formation of historical memory of the Great War in Soviet and Russian emigre society, the ways of representing the past, the commemorative practices.Within the framework of the subject, the authors are also encouragedto discuss the problems of the Civil War in Russia in the context of the "changing world" and the formation of the Versailles-Washington system of international relations.

History of the peoples of Russia from a gender perspective

Within the framework of this problem, the authors are invited to discuss the social institutions and organizations which are structured by gender in pre-revolutionary Russia and the USSR; the subjective gender identity; to show the features of women’s private life in Russia, the importance of family and gender hierarchical structure, the social history of women; women’s activities in the public sphere; the changes in the history of a Soviet woman’s everyday life.

Transnational exchange

Within the framework of this problem,the authors are invited to highlight the issues related to the international cultural dialogue of Russia aware of its national interests and making necessary efforts in various historical periods to promote its cultural diplomacy; to assess the foreign cultural policy of Russia/the USSR, includingwith regard to the peoples integrated into the Russian Empire; to show the reflection of the issues of Russian migration on the territory of Central Asia in the social thought of Russia.

Russia and China

Within the framework of this problem, the authors are invited to discuss various aspects of the history of Russian/Soviet-Chinese political, economic and cultural cooperation, taking into account the influence of Confucian values and the concept of "harmonious culture" on the humanitarian cooperation of the two countries; to show the new forms of interaction between the Russian Federation and the PRC within the framework of the prevailing geopolitical realities of the late 20th − early 21st centuries.
