Abstract

In the article in the state of Russia’s national security goes out analysis of the main threats and security issues of Latin American countries in internal and foreign policy areas and also to the study of key trends impacting on the weapons market and its changes in the region. Attention is being given to investigation of the role and influence of these threats on the achieving of objectives, principles and tasks for Latin American countries’ foreign policy concepts in military and political spheres. Also author studied nature of these countries’ military budgets and its emergence, nature of these threats and basing on that, author observes the types of weapons and military equipment required for their minimization and maintaining defense capacities in the region.
