Communicative characteristics of press-release as variety of Public Relations discourse

Abstract


The article presents press-release in the context of its communicative characteristics (with examples in Spanish). The author proposes the definition of press-release and its communication model, as well as highlights each element's functional value. Among others, Roman Jacobson's conception is being considered.
