Abstract

The article analyzes three different terms “Russian as a second language”, “Russian as a second native language”, “Russian as foreign language”. Based on the definitions of the concepts denoted by these terms”, in the relevant dictionaries the author comes to the conclusion about connotative congestion of the term “Russian as a second native language”. It even is not fixed in dictionaries The author believes that value of this phrase contradictory emotional and is not rational, if it be used in scientific, linguo-didactic purposes.
