Changes of blastogenic response of lymphoid cells in kindled animals under the influence of pentoxiphyllin

Kobolev Е.V., Desyatsky V.V., Godlevsky L.S., Mustyatsu V.F., Drozdova G.А.

Abstract

Under condition of acute experiments on male Wistar rats it was shown that under condition of kindling formation induced via repeated subthreshold corazol administration (30,0 mg/kg, i.p.) the decreasing of blastogenic response induced by bacterial lypopolysaccharide and phytogemagglutinin was shown. This effect was detectable after 10-th convulsant injection and intensified in the course of kindling (21 injections of picrotoxin). Pentoxiphyllin (25,0 and 50,0 mg/kg, i.p.) caused antiseizure effects and effectively prevented kindling-induced decreasing of blastogenic response in dose-depended manner.

New views of mildronate use for the prevention and correction of impairment of adaptive processes

Logunova L.V.

Abstract

Protective and normalizing mildronate action on the level of non enzyme kation proteins in the neurophils and contents of kateholamins in erythrocytes were revealed on the experimental model of the emotional-pain stress. The findings of numerous investigations demonstrate that positive effects of mildronate were connected not only with its metabolism-modifying action but with accumulated holinolike metabolites of karnitine and normalizing influence on the central parts of neuro-endocrine systems, which ensure its use with the aim of increasing of adaptation to the outer environmental factors as well at to the prolonged phycho-emotional overstrain.

Abstract

Electrophysical properties of multicomponent heterogeneous systems containing polar liquid phase and electrically active inclusions are investigated while the study of human blood. It was found that the examined biological system has electret properties which are related to accumulation of interphase charges in the presence of inner electric field. Special attention is paid to the analysis of change of structure of water component in plasma near the interfaces. The existence of low-temperature current maximums whose dynamics is the same for all groups of blood and high-temperature current maximums which characterize individual properties of the biofluid in the range of temperatures (20-220) °C has been established. For the first time electrophysical parameters that describe physical properties of human blood thoroughly are determined.

Intra and interhermispheric coherence peculiarities in foreign language perception

Khokhlova L.A., Deryagina L.E.

Abstract

Findings of the EEG investigation of students studying English, German, French and Latin are presented in the paper. Cortical activity peculiarities in frequency ranges between 4 and 30 Hz are revealed, EEG determinants of language abilities being estimated. Theta and beta bands are established to be more involved in the process of language perception. English and German cause greater left-hemisphere activity that is particularly marked in parietal, temporal and central regions. Perception of Latin and French is accompanied by the brain activity displacement to the right hemisphere. Results obtained during the investigation point to the close correlations between EEG peculiarities, short-term memory and successful language mastering.

Buranova F.B., Rogachevskiy O.V.

Abstract

The effect of plasmapheresis is studied at placentary insufficiency at 120 women after IVF with placenta isufficiency. The age of investigated women was from 26 to 41 years, average 33,4 ± 4,6 years. Among which 60 pregnant treated traditionally, 60 pregnant were treated by plasmapheresis and traditionally. Plasmapheresis (PA) performed discontinuous way. In general, conducted 3 courses of treatment, at intervals of 3-4 days, under the dynamic performance of clinical and laboratory data. The results of our investigation showed that plasmapheresis and in combination with traditionally permits to improve the indications of fetoplacental system and promotes favorable perinatal outcome and pregnancy, labors complication reduced. Researches have shown that plasmapheresis, considerably improves a fetus condition to what the, of USI, Doppler ultrasound and perinatal effects testifies. Improvement of maternal - and perinatal outcomes is noted. Plasmapheresis is a prospective method of treatment allowing to, decrease medicinal loading on maternal and fetal organisms, to improve uterine- and feto-placental circulation, to lower an incidence of complications of pregnancy and delivery.
