Abstract

The problem of interrelation between left ventricular hypertrophy of the heart (LVH) in terms of chronic hypocapnia (the level of carbon dioxide in the alveolar air is less than 35 mm Hg) in general population is not sufficiently studied according to the scientific data. The aim of this research is to evaluate peak criteria prevalence of left ventricular hypertrophy among young people and to establish their interrelation with carbon dioxide strain in alveolar air.
