Abstract

The paper presents the possibility of using case teaching methods in teaching students of a technical college information. It was revealed that the use of technology case methods determines the capabilities of technological adaptation of game methods and materials. It was determined that as a result of acceptance for students leading a comprehensive definition of information culture as part of the general culture. It proposed the development of distant methods of structuring learning using case-tech methods.

Abstract

The article is devoted to networking foreign universities, in particular, it considers the experience of cooperation of Vietnamese and Chinese universities with the leading universities of the world and the implementation of joint educational projects. The article deals with the basic characteristics of university networks that emerged in the last decade in developing countries. The authors analyzed the model, sources of financing, the organization of educational process, teaching of languages and the number of students in the university network, as well as the main mechanisms that allow open network structure of education in different countries of the world. The authors also address the main reasons for encouraging networking of foreign universities.

WOLFRAMALPHA TECHNOLOGY IN TEACHING DISCIPLINE “ECONOMETRICS: BASIC LEVEL” FOR ECONOMIC UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

Abstract

The article describes the best ways of using of information technologies in the teaching of the discipline “Econometrics: basic level”, which appears an inseparable part of the applied mathematical training for Economics students at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. These results, including fragments of educational-cognitive activity of the student within the academic discipline “Econometrics: a basic level”, allow us to estimate methodical and research potentials of the knowledge base and set of WolframAlpha computational algorithms in the applied mathematical training system for Bachelor of Economics. Disclosed possible operators WolframAlpha - fit, linear fit, quartic fit, cubic fit, quadratic fit on imaging problems depending on the level of consumption by income level (John Maynard Keynes’s model), a tool for building a research and regression analysis appears. Recommendations on the content of economic and methodical interpretation of the results: the establishment of the marginal propensity to consume, the level of consumption in the absence of income by using the Akaike information criteria and Bayesian, coefficient of determination, normalized coefficient of determination. Allocated sequence and the main features of the work of the students with the construction and analysis of the various econometric models WolframAlpha, choice of correlation, the most adequate study of the economic situation.

SOFTWARE MEANS OF VISUALIZATION OF TOPOLOGICAL CONCEPTS

Abstract

The article discusses software means of visualization of topological concepts from the perspective of the dual imaging interpretations as an auxiliary tool in the classroom and as a means of forming metasubject knowledge to ensure the implementation of a continuous educational process in the conditions of informatization trends in modern educationInformation visualization is not just an important part of the educational process, but it is an integral part of it. This motivated is to consider the possibility of using visualization as a means of forming metasubject knowledge. To achieve this goal, we consider the provision of information in form of a treegraph, also known as the method of mind map, developed by Tony Buzan to best perception and memorizing information. In the article we review the basic software for creating mind maps, in terms of tools and basic features. By combining the concept of presenting the material in a structured way with metasubject concepts, including topological, we get together a method of studying the curriculum at different stages of its formation and the method metasubject knowledge. From this perspective, we consider such concepts as “continuity”, “coherence”, “set”, etc., which are not only metasubjectial, but also topological.

APPLICATION OF PEER-TO-PEER ASSESSMENT OF WRITTEN WORKS OF STUDENTS IN STREAM INTERNAL COURSES

Abstract

At reduction of contact time in subject matters the instruments of preservation of active forms of studying for students assuming independent research work are required. One of such forms is peer-to- peer evaluation of works (peer assessment) allowing to go beyond a narrow framework of automaticallychecked tests for the level of small research works. In article results of a two-year experiment on use of a piring on a stream course are given in MIEM Higher School of Economics National Research University taking into account specifics of audience rather mass online of courses.The received results and conclusions have formed a basis for modeling of ways of estimation of written works at peer-to-peer check without participation of the teacher. In an experiment schemes of estimation and motivation for management of a ratio of number of authors and reviewers have been fulfilled, and also the general questions of use of the offered system of assessment it is aware.

Abstract

This article concentrates on the basic materials of the educational and methodical complex of a modern format (cloud-based and interactive), used in the educational process of the course “Informatics”, which significantly expands the share of independent work of students according to the increased number of students’ practical work (laboratory work, educational projects, essays). This workshop focuses on mastering the methods of work with personal mobile and office computers, Office programs, Internet technologies by students and making students receive the competences to solve topical applied problems. Efficiency of students’ independent work is additionally ensured by educational and methodical tutorials (lecture notes and compilations of test tasks), excercises, models and examples of performing all tasks, developed by the authors of the article.

Abstract

The article is devoted to an actual problem of natural-science and humanitarian cultures dialogue in the process of solving the most important cross-cutting issues associated with the study of writing styles variability under the influence of sociocultural conditions. There is offered a mathematical model of analyzing and comparing the text works styles. The essence of technology of Markov chains application to analyzing of the letter pairs in their natural sequences in the text in order to establish the stability of the author’s style. Temporary style analyzer, which provides a full cycle analysis text styles, was developed in the C # programming language. The program let the opportunity to predict changes in the author’s style for any time period; identify the author’s style works by introducing a time parameter that allows comparing the results of the static taxonomy (the texts are taken without regard to the the time parameter) and in dynamics (including the creation time).
