EXPERIMENTAL RRESEARCH ON THIN STEEL PLATE-TO- TIMBER JOINTS

Sintsov V.P., Liutov L.V.

Abstract

There is a need of new cost-effective elements of timber structures due to increasing de- mand for individual residential houses. Accordingly, we developed a new design of the com- posite beam with corrugated steel web. Timber flanges with the steel web fit together by the dowel joint, the calculation of which requires clarification by means of the introduction of a design coefficient. The paper presents the main results of an experimental research on thin steel plate-to-timber symmetrical dowel joints. The paper concluded with design coefficients for formulas for determining the bearing capacity of thin steel plate-to-timber dowel joints under short term loads which obtained from results of the experiment

THE ANALYSIS OF NICE CALCULATIONS FOR DISPLACEMENTS OF REGULAR JOINT-AND-ROD STRUCTURES

Tinkov D.V.

Abstract

The exact analytical expressions for deflection of plane truss structures of various kinds are presented. Deflection of trusses calculated by the formula of the Maxwell-Mohr on the assumption of elastic elements of its work and with the help of the method of induction on the number of panels is given. A comparative analysis with known solutions is given too. We study the quantitative and qualitative features of solutions. Identifies characteristics and limits on the number of panels characteristics are shown. Research carried out with the support of the computer mathematic program Marle in symbolic form. For comparison, solutions and test were made with using a multifunctional software package Lira, which is intended for the de- sign and calculation of building and engineering structures

IMPACT OF A BAR WITH LUMPED MASS AT RIGID BARRIER

Sabodash P.P., Golyshev A.I., Tatarkin M.M.

Abstract

A stress wave propagation dynamic problem due to impact of elastic bar at a rigid barrier is considered. It is presumed, that the bar is equipped with a dot mass at free end and «sticks» to rigid barrier after impact. The problem is solved with Laplace transformation.

INVESTIGATION OF THE MOTION OF A CYLINDRICAL INCLUSION WITH ELASTIC ELEMENTS IN THE ACOUSTIC MEDIUM

Seyfullayev A.I., Mamedova G.A.

Abstract

In this paper, the unsteady motion of a cylindrical inclusion with an oscillator in the acoustic medium after the passage of the wave is investigated. The boundary functions and potentials, depending on the time, and also free oscillations of a cylindrical inclusion contain- ing suspended mass situated in acoustic medium are investigated. Eigen-frequencies of oscillations are defined at some values of parameters of the system.

KLOCHKOV Y.V., KISELEVA T.A., VAKHNINA O.V.

Abstract

The algorithm for calculating arbitrary articulated shells with different physical - me- chanical characteristics based on the finite element method with using of the interpolation of scalar and vector displacement fields is presented. As part of the sampling, rectangular curvilinear finite elements of eighteen degrees of freedom in the node were used. The analysis of VAT thin shell of dissimilar materials in the form of a cylinder with elliptical bottom was fulfilled

MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF THE STRESS-STRAIN STATE OF A BEAM WITH A VARIABLE SECTION WITH AN EFFECT OF "BOUNDARY LAYER"

Firsanov V.V.

Abstract

The essence of this mathematical model consist in construction of the basic stress-strain state which is based on a new hypothesis of a vertical element and an additional stress-strain state of the regional flat deformation arising of close rigidly jammed edge. It gives the chance more exactly to estimate the strength of aircraft structures near to irregularities of type of con- nections, join elements (spars) with variation in wall thickness, of the slender swept-delta wings, empennage, and rocket stabilizes. The method of asymptotic integration of the differential equations of a three-dimensional theory of elasticity is applied. By means of special oblique-angled system of the coordinates relationship for the two of fringe problem was derived. The problems of additional, stress- strain state of the frige flat deformation was solved by the variational method of Vlasov- Kantorovich. On the example of the calculation of the beam with constant thickness, it is shown that the considerable contribution to the general stress state is brought by the transverse normal and shearing stresses, which in the classical theory of bars and shells are neglected.

INVESTIGATION OF DYNAMICS AND LEVEL OF CONCRETE STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT LAID IN STEEL PERMANENT FORMWORK

Gasiev A.A., Beppaev Z.U., Hasauov U.M.

Abstract

The article shows the results of experimental tests of speed of the concrete strength de- velopment, laid in a system of the steel permanent formwork. There has been described the structure of the steel permanent formwork. There has been provided a technology of tests exe- cution and there have been described experimental samples and testing equipment. Based on the tests` results, there has been provided a comparison between hardening speed of concrete laid in the traditional formwork and concrete laid in the steel permanent formwork. The results of executed tests show that concrete laid in the system of the steel permanent formwork hard- ens faster than concrete laid in the traditional formwork. There have been described the rea- sons of detected defect of concrete hardening speed-up, there have been described some physical characteristics of concrete laid in the system of the steel permanent formwork.
