Syncretism in Russian Syntax

The article deals with the description of metacommunicative technologies. These technologies, along with neuro-linguistic programming, which is legendary nowadays, are known only by there name, and the attitude towards them, as a rule, negative, for example, “black” PR, etc. However, from the point of view of the systemic approach, meta-communication is a kind of subtext, second, the implied, hidden sense of the verbal information, explicitly expressing the attitude of the speaker to the utterance produced by him. Primary Root and Cognitive-Comparative Method for Its Research

Abstract

The paper considers the primary root. The ancient primary roots’ existence is proved. Primary root’s sense doesn’t change, it translates through ages. The meanings are transformed by metonymy and metaphor; such transformations get the form of the words in different languages. For the primary roots’ studying is introduced cognitive-comparative etymology method. The primary root reflects the process of language cognition. As a result of this process certain elements of reality were identified and nominated.

Abstract

The author studies active linguistic processes in the Spanish language, currently observing the category of grammatical gender when nominating people in accordance with their profession, activity, or position. In particular, the focus is on the means of Spanish nouns gender expression denoting women, and also relevant for modern Spain question of gender correctness in this field, in the context of the academic “New Spanish grammar” and debate in Spanish press, caused by the report of I. Bosque, the Spanish philologist, a member of the Royal Spanish Academy. The author shows that the nomination of persons in the profession, on the one hand, is a special reflection of the cultural and social environment in terms of gender, and the same names, on the other hand, are linguistic means of impact on the socio-cultural sphere.
