MODELING OF TECHNICAL COATED FABRICS FOR TENSILE STRUCTURES

Abstract


In this article, the laboratory tests executed with a research objective of mechanical properties of technical coated fabric are described. Experiments included uniaxial tensile tests in the warp and weft directions. For measurement of displacements and deformations on a surface of a sample the method of digital images correlation has been used. The numerical simulation of material has been constructed and calculated to simulate the experiments. Good convergence between results of laboratory and numerical researches is shown
